   The strange thing is: Voronezh, which is situated far from seas and oceans, is called "the cradle of the Russian Navy"!


    Three centuries ago the first Admiralty was established here by Peter the Great. This film is a story of how modern residents of Voronezh try to recollect documentary evidence of that event and how the traditions of the Russian Navy are cherished by young cadets.

Results of Film Festival "The Sea Calls"

VIII International Festival of marine and adventure films "The Sea Calls" (25-28 April 2011, St. Petersburg) turned into a convincing victory of CNF documentaries. "The Dangerous Baltiс» by Vladimir Marin won the grand prize in the category “The Best Film in the protection of nature" and "Naval Heritage of Russia» by Nikolai Chuev was awarded a special prize of the Central Naval Museum as the winner in the category" Maritime Heritage ". We congratulate the authors and members of the crew!
