On the 4th of March 1961 the USSR the first in the world intercepted and destroyed the head of the ballistic missile. The Americans could do this kind of interception only more than 20 years later.
The “patriarches” of the Soviet anti missile defence participated in the film. The audience will see the objects that were formerly “closed” from the strangers and outsiders and the starts of the Soviet antimissiles. The documentary was based on the colour film shot by the studio “The Centre of Scientific Film” in 1962. At the same time the audience will hear the story of the “off screen “ things.
