The interviews with the people that survived in the camps for prisoners of war and the extermination camps in Germany and that went through the filtration and then the soviet camps were assumed as the basis for all the three films of the series “Victims of the two dictatorships”. Our interlocutors are the people of different fates and of different views on what was happening to them and to the country in those years,but all their stories subjugate with their sincerity and trustworthiness.

The films contain a lot of chronicles from the Russian and German archives, as well as a lot of photos from the private collections. The films were shot in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Minsk, Berlin, Cologne, Buchenwald.
