Born in 1958.

In 1981, graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture (specialty: independent film and photo studio director).

In 1990, graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (specialty: scientific and TV film director, Boris Altschuler and Boris Kubeev studio).

1999-2000, worked as director, scriptwriter, and reporter within Mikhail Taratuta’s Russkie Gorki cycle. Worked on films at the NTV company.

The film The Endurance of the Cruise is not Limited (directed by Dmitry Zubarev) has become the winner in the nomination “The best documentary for the youth” at the Moscow Open Youth Film Festival Otrazheniye that took place in Zelenograd from 3 to 6 November 2007.
