Born in 1958.
In 1981, graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture (specialty: independent film and photo studio director). In 1990, graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (specialty: scientific and TV film director, Boris Altschuler and Boris Kubeev studio). 1999-2000, worked as director, scriptwriter, and reporter within Mikhail Taratuta’s Russkie Gorki cycle.
