Born on May 11, 1960, in Moscow.
In 1988, graduated from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (film director department, M.Khutsiev’s studio). From the age of 17, worked at the Mosfilm studio. Developed from a carpenter-decorator to assistant director. Worked on such films as An Ordinary Miracle, Crew, Stalker.
From 1982, assistant director, from 1990, production director.
