At the Centre of National Film, a non-fiction movie has been completed, entitled "Incredible adventures of Diego Diegovich in the Land of  Bolsheviks" in the Country of Bolshevicks. The Russia Trace of Diego Rivera (scriptwriter Larisa Malyukova with the participation of Natalia Nazarova, directed by Natalia Nazarova, voice over by Alexander Filippenko).

In 2007, the world is marking the 50th anniversary of the death of Diego Rivera, a great Mexican monumentalist painter who made the Mexican revolution famous with his art. A new film by Natalia Nazarova about Diego Rivera and about how we see his legacy fifty years later. What features of his contradictory personality get larger today and what remain in the depth of the 20th century? The cinematographic tale won’t evade intrigue and revelation – like in the life of the painter himself that was rich in adventures.

The film may be considered as a continuation for Natalia Nazarova’s film Frida Versus Frida about a famous Mexican painter, Diego Rivera’s wife. We’d like to remind that the film created in 2004 was a participant of many prestigious international and Russian festivals and received the Lavr national prize for the best documentary debut in cinema and on television (2005); Isabella Liddell’s prize for the best film on art at the Ann Harbor festival in Michigan, US (2006), and some others.
